The JetAudio Backup4all plugin is a free add-on developed by Softland that allows users to easily back up their JetAudio Basic settings, skins, visualizations, and registry entries. Instead of manually hunting through your Windows registry and AppData folders to save your media player customizations, this plugin integrates directly into Backup4all to automate the process.

Here is a comprehensive setup guide to download, install, and configure the plugin. Step 1: Download the JetAudio Plugin

Before you begin, ensure you have Backup4all installed on your Windows PC. Navigate to the official JetAudio Backup4all Plugin Page.

Click Install Plugin to automatically add it to your existing software, or click Download plugin as XML file to save it manually to your hard drive. Step 2: Install the Plugin into Backup4all

If you downloaded the XML file manually, you need to import it into the Backup4all plugin manager: Launch Backup4all. Go to the top menu and select FileToolsPlugins.

In the Manage Plugins window, click Add (or “Install”), select the downloaded JetAudio XML file, and confirm the installation. Close the Plugins window. Step 3: Configure the JetAudio Backup Job

Once the plugin is installed, you can create an automated backup wizard for your data:

Create a New Job: Click FileNew (or press Ctrl+N) to open the New Backup Wizard.

Select Destination: Under the Where do you want to save the backup? screen, choose your storage location (e.g., local hard drive, external USB drive, network share, or cloud service) and click Next.

Select JetAudio Source: On the What do you want to backup page, look at the Applications list on the left panel. Scroll down and check the box next to JetAudio. Click Next.

Filter Sources (Optional): The Filter the backup sources screen lets you refine your choices, but it is highly recommended to leave the default configuration to ensure all skins, layouts, and registry files are fully saved. Click Next.

Set Backup Type: On the How do you want to backup screen, choose your backup method (Full, Differential, Incremental, or Mirror) and toggle encryption if you wish to password-protect your configuration files. Click Next.

Schedule Automation: On the When do you want to backup screen, you can set the job to run automatically (e.g., weekly or monthly) so you never lose any newly added skins or audio profiles. Click Next.

Name and Run: On the final Personalize your backup job page, enter a recognizable name (e.g., “JetAudio Settings Backup”). Click Save, and then click Save and Run to immediately trigger your first backup. What Does the Plugin Actually Back Up?

When the backup job runs, the XML plugin commands Backup4all to compress and store four specific components of the JetAudio Basic application: JetAudio Plugin details – Backup4all
